The view looking down. What is especially remarkable about this is these stars, huge, suspended, and turning a myriad of shades from red to yellow to blue to purple. They really are spectacular.

- We are just two folks who reside in suburbia but have a hankerin' to try outside the box. We both lost weight on Weight Watchers, and developed a new appreciation for quality foods, made without junk. For Eric, its all about the beer. He's a homebrewer constantly on a quest for that one beer that would actually match his talents. Some have come close. The quest continues. For Cheryl, the foodie-challenge is finding the right foods without gluten. Thankfully, there's always wine, chocolate, cheese, and brussel sprouts.

Maybe it is our way of being part of that whole internet universe. Or discovering other folks into the same interests as us. Or maybe we spend too much time at the laptop as it is and need another obsession. Whatever the reason, we've dipped our toe into a cyberspace pool to post stories, pictures, and oddities of our travels, whether global or local, and quest for great restaurants, wonderful food finds (gluten-free or not), unusual beers, and tasty wines.
